NITED NATIONS Iran is apparently thumbing its nose at the Security Council on the nuclear issue. A new U-N report says the Tehran government is refusing to stop enriching uranium.
The Associated Press obtained a copy of the report, which is being sent to the International Atomic Energy Agency. It says the Iranians are continuing a number of activities the Security Council told them to stop by yesterday.
On a visit to Berlin today, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said the U-S, Europe and Russia all want the Iranians back at the bargaining table. She says they'll work with the U-N and others to make that happen.
Iran has long insisted it won't stop its nuclear activities as a precondition for talks.
